Thiashola Plantations Private Limited, is both one of the oldest and also one of the finest high grown tea gardens in Nilgiris, South India.

The stunning Thiashola Tea Estate sits at a height of 6000 feet above sea level and therefore spreads over hectares of undulating hills in the Nilgiris. Chinese prisoners of the Opium wars planted the first tea plants in the area at the site of Jail Muttom. For years, they lovingly tended to them and cultivated them into plantations. As the years went by, the plantations flourished and their fame spread far and wide.
