SATEMWA Tea Estates

SATEMWA Tea Estate is a privately owned tea estate established in 1923 and situated in the Shire Highlands in Malawi (Africa).

Most of the tea we produce is CTC black tea for the export market. We roughly make 2500 tons per year.

Further we are the only estate in Malawi producing Orthodox white, green, oolong, black and dark Specialty Teas. We can only make small volumes and limited batches but we produce extreme high quality and unique flavours.

All our teas are Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance & UTZ certified and we grow our leafs without the use of pesticides.
