Verne’s Tea sources high quality farm direct Chinese teas for the Pacific Northwest. Offering traditional house teas as well as small batch tea rarely seen in traditional tea shops.

Verne’s Tea Philosophy

In that spirit we believe in quality Chinese tea at reasonable prices. We do not supply bagged tea or blended tea here. There are no puer cakes for hundreds of dollars. There are no teas offered that I wouldn’t pay for with my own money

All teas on this site are offered because they are of good quality & accessible and offer an experience so special they need to be shared.verne’s strives to offer quality daily drinking teas and keep those teas in house indefinitely.

Verne’s will also strive to keep a frequent rotation of Select Teas available to customers. Some of these Select Teas can be small quantities and will sell out quickly

All the teas on this site can be traced back to the farm from where they were harvested, even if the teas came from a distributor. There’s nothing questionable in the quality. Otherwise, I would not drink these teas myself. I will strive, however, to source teas directly from the farmer simply because the quality far exceeds many teas available through a distributor and the tea’s history is never in question.
