Valley Green Tea is an Australian importer and on-line retailer of premium Chinese tea including green, white, Oolong/Wulong, black, Pu-erh and jasmine teas with related nutritional and preparation information.

En Jie grew up in the Fu-Jian Province – the tea country of China. She has a master degree in Public Health from the University of Sydney and worked as a researcher for many years before starting the business. Her background and experiences have uniquely qualified her to both source quality Chinese teas from their very original sources and provide comment on their related health benefits.

Green Tea
Green tea is the only class of Chinese teas that are un-fermented. We offer exclusive fresh seasonal green teas, vacuum sealed and refrigerated. They are packed with natural antioxidants, luscious to taste with abundant health benefits.

White Tea
White tea is a unique Chinese “hidden gem”. This family has a quality based hierarchy. We offer the top two (both organically produced): Silver Needle – silver tip leaves only; White Peony – silver tip leaf plus one leaf below.

Oolong Tea
Oolong Teas are semi-fermented and a specialty Fu-Jian China where En Jie (owner) grew up. She sources some of the exclusive teas such as Tie Guan Yin and Da Hong Pao directly from the tea farmers in this area.

Pu-erh Tea
Pu-erh tea belongs to the compressed tea category, named after its birth place Pu-erh and first traded during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). Pu-erh tea has gained recent notoriety due to it’s reported ability to reduce body fat deposit.
