Suan Lahu is an organic farm run in northern Thailand by indigenous highland villagers, who are dedicated to planetary health.

We grow tea, the beverage of the Lahu people, and other certified organic crops, at 1000m elevation.

Suan Lahu aims to achieve sustainable livelihoods by adding commercial value to our crops – a vision shared by organic farming practitioners all over the world. We strive to see many more environmentally conscious farmers signing out of the debt, disease, and dependency, which they get from agro-chemical farming. We want people to support eco-agriculture in order to benefit and the environment. Our mission is to set a local example for sustainable land and resource use in the mountains. In practicing eco-agriculture at the farm, Suan Lahu shows an alternative to the hazardous farming practices giving weak health to both young and old people alike.
