After that, we visited tea farmers’ tea gardens and the whole tea making process. We signed a long-term supply contract with tea growers and therefore purchased fresh tea every season.

Anxi tea covers a total area of 250 acres with a building area of 180,000 square meters. There are 1,800 sets of shops and two trading halls with over 3,000 tea farmers trading stalls. Anxi tea is the origin of Oolong tea and Tieguanyin tea, where has most of all the tea in China, is China’s largest tea market.

Origin of the name Aprtea

About the name of Aprtea, is composed of Apr and Tea, April tea. Generally speaking, the quality of tea in April is the best in spring tea, especially Green Tea.

After winter, the tea made from the first germination of the bud shoots is called spring tea. After a winter rest the tea accumulates rich nutrients and the tea content is often the most abundant. The spring temperature is relatively low which is conducive to the synthesis and accumulation of nitrogen, nutrient content of protein and amino acids is high. because the temperatures of the spring season are low, pests and diseases are relatively small.
